My kids loved green island. I have a 7, 13 and 14 year old. I wanted a trip that kept them all happy. Being on the island made it easier for me to keep an eye on my youngest in the water. But there was still coral for the older children to go snorkelling and my son even had his first dive. The island literally had everything on it from an ice cream store to an animal park. next time I would definately book a room in the resort.

So many things to do ans so little time. I was in Cairns for a work conference and took half a day out to see some reef. The island is beautiful the people are friendly and i had a great time. I definately want to go back though, I should have done the full day, because I want to do a Helicopter Scenic flight and maybe try scuba diving. Thanks Big Cat.

I am proud too say I did everything on the island. I went parasailing, helmet diving, scuba diving, saw the biggest crocodile in captivitiy, went on a helicopter scenic flight, glass bottom boat and semi-sub. But I was lucky enough to spend 3 days in the island resort. AHhhhMAZING! I had an incredible time. But I would like to thank BIG CAT in particular because the staff were just wonderful, they gave me really good tips about what to do on the island. They were incredibly accomodating and one of their staff member in particular even listened to all my adventurous stories on the return journey. Thank you for an excellent holiday, I will be back because of their service.

I did the outer barrier reef another day, but I really wanted to just chill on an island for the day. I was suprised by just how many building there are. Like I ate ice cream, had a massage, took a scenic helicopter ride, checked out the underwater observatory and saw the animal park. I had a fantastic time, everyone was just really nice... they want you to have a good time. Thanks Immy.

Missing Cairns already. We went on 3 boat trips with different companys and by far the Big cat to Green Island was the best.
We snorkled and saw heaps of beautiful coloured fish and coral big and small, hubby swam with a turtlle. Glassbottom boat was Excelent for my 10 yr old who was to scared to swim with the fish & she saw nemo and 2 small sharks. We walked around the whole Island, saw lots of jumping fish and my 7 yr old spotted 3 sting rays, it was so exciting.
The best place to SNORKLE BY FAR, we will be doing the trip again when we visit Carins next year and will try all the other activities, especially the submarine.
THANK YOU BIG CAT Reef Cruises you made our holiday. We will be recommending you to everyone.

I saw a big fish and little turtle. Swam in really clear water and found lots of coral. The beach was sandy and there was lots to see and do. I explored the whole island and did lots of acitivities. Very nice morning.

Just wanted to put a quick note on here, because I really enjoyed my day out with big cat. The food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. Couldn't have asked for anything more for my first trip to the reef. Thanks for a great day out.

I loved my day out in Green Island. I found there was so much to do on the island from seeing the crocodiles in marine land melanesia to parasailing above the reef.
I found that the staff on Big Cat Cruises were extremely friendly and the food was excellent. They maintained a really high standard of customer service throughout the day. Having never been to the reef before, I found they gave me an experience I will never forget. I would recommend them to anyone.

We went on the Green Island trip yesterday. We booked for a half day and we were enjoying ourselves so much we asked to change to a full day halfway through the morning. I have to say the crew were so accommodating and even managed to include us in the lunch. Great people and a great islnd experience. Thank you for being so flexible and helping us.

Do as much or as little as you like at Green Island. Take the time to relax and enjoy the beach with a cocktail or get involved in guided snorkel tour, scuba diving or the seawalker!

Green Island is simply a 45 minute boat ride from Cairns. Packages range from the simple choice of glass bottom boat or snorkel gear to adding optional extras in such as the semi-submersible, lunch and so much more!

We had a wonderful day out there doing all the activities and had alot of fun.
