Ocean Freedom
A newly refurbished 20 metre five star luxury catamaran cruiser with a steel silver hull and a large white "O" on the side sits proudly on the Cairns Reef Fleet Marina. This vessel has had over one million dollars spent on her to make her the pride of the fleet. Ocean Freedom offers guests a spacious air-conditioned saloon that is beautifully fitted out to provide you with more comfort and easy accessibility to the forward and aft decks so you can have the choice of lying around in the sunshine with the wind in your hair, on comfortable marine couches on the top deck or forward lying on a towel laid out on the bow (the pointy end of the boat). From the saloon you can choose to purchase soft drinks and alcoholic beverages thruoughout the day.
Ocean Freedom welcomes its guests aboard at 7.30am to ensure you get real value for money out on the Great Barrier Reef and ensure you get to be the first Cairns tour boat on Upolu Cay on any given day.
You will have six full hours of exploring the secrets of the fascinating underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef. At Upolu Cay you depart from Ocean Freedom onto the most pristine sandy coral cay that sits in the middle of the ocean surrounded by colourful reef and inquisitive fish. Here you will enjoy a glass bottom boat tour and a marine environment interpretation by one of the Ocean Freedom crew members. You can also try your snorkel gear out and make the necessary adjustment with some help from the Ocean Freedom crew who are always on hand for anything that you may need assistance with through the day. Floatation vests are available for you to use if you do not feel comfortable in the water or if you want to spend hours drift snorkelling around the Great Barrier Reef to see the amazing coral structures and marine life. If you stay still long enough the fish will not see you as a predator and come up nice and close to have a good look at you. Drift around for an hour and then be back on board to go to one of the most amazing spots on the Great Barrier Reef called The Wonder Wall and a wonderful surprise it is. Located on the edge of Upolu Reef The Wonder Wall is perfect for the first time snorkeller or the fully certified diver as it offers an abundance of different type of corals which in turn attracts different types of fish and other marine life. New guests always come back to Ocean Freedom with a story of what they saw and experienced with their eyes wide open and their jaws still unhinged. The Wonder Wall truly is a great place to spend the rest of your day on the Great Barrier Reef as you will see so much more here than a lot of other reef destinations. Make sure your first Cairns Great Barrier Reef boat tour is with the crew on Ocean Freedom.

Wow what a trip my wife and I were so impressed when we did our first introductory dive and we were on our own with Christina. She looked after us so well. It was awesome having one instructor to look after the two of us we were so impressed and will spread the word.
Thank you so much.

We wer up in Cairns recently and went out to the Reef on your boat. I would like to tham you for the great service my wife was nervous of snorkeling and your crew put her at ease and helped her. My mates and I decided to holiday in Cairns for a lads weekend to celebrate my birthday. Going with Ocean Freedom, we all got to dive for the very first time and see so much. The food was excellent and the staff on board were alot of fun. Thanks team for such a fun day out. Will be back.

The tour specialists recommended Ocean Freedom to me, after I enquired about finding a good company who catered for first time divers. I was not disapointed, the day started off on a high with the sun shining upon us. And it kicked started what was to become a fun filled day. We stopped off at two locations one in some beautiful coral surrounding Upolu Cay and the other amidst the phenomenal 'wonder wall'. I really like that my partner and I had a diving instructor to ourselves, it allowed us to ease into our first time diving. I am proud to say I have now dived near a reef shark, touched a turtle and swam over a sting ray. The crew were so helpful and I will be back.

GREAT Crew working onboard Ocean Freedom!
This is a great day as it gives variety including 1 outer reef location, 1 sandy coral cay, a glass bottom boat tour and a guided snorkel tour.
Wheather you are with the family, a friend or your partner this is an excellent option for everyone!
