A day on Synergy is all about relaxing, all about you, and all about not needing to be anywhere in a mad hurry at all. You can just lounge around and take in all the natural beauty and cooling winds with your family and friends beside you enjoying the ambience with you.
The sail boat departs from Marina Mirage at 8.30 am and returns around 4.15 pm with guests that arrive back from the reef feeling as though they have no more worries left in the world and have had a reprieve if not momentarily from the pressures of daily life.
Synergy heads out to the reef under motor with speeds of 10 to 16 knots under the right conditions dedicated to getting you to some of the best snorkeling you may see in your life.
She is especially popular for those guests that may be unsure of their ability to go on the ocean in a smaller type boat with her asymmetrical spinnakers generating exhilarating sailing in complete comfort without the rock and roll you experience on mono hull vessels.
Your skipper will choose the best reef location for the day according to the weather and wind conditions on the day to ensure you have the best experience possible.

We went to the Great Barrier Reef on Synergy 2. There were 8 of us on board for the day. I have to say the service was amazing. The snorkeling incredible and the freshly cooked BBQ sensational.
It was a fabulous day and we will always recommend you to anyone we know travelling to Cairns.
