Now you can on our 11 and 15 day ultimate Cape York Fly and Drive bespoke four wheel drive tours.

Jump on board with us and travel to the beautiful Cape York Peninsula with our fully accredited award winning safari tour guides who have had over 20 years exploring these remote regions of Cape York.

On each 4 wheel drive tour we have a maximum of two groups of 6 guests in each overland vehicle and our campsites are some of the best glamping spots you would have seen in your life.

Cape York is an area of Australia that is untamed and rampant with a colourful history of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander occupation, exploration and mining.

We will show you rugged and remote beauty in places a lot of others have never seen. Cape York is resplendent with a range of diverse scenery, flora and fauna making this outback tour a birdwatchers nirvana.

We will be crossing wild rivers and swimming in remote waterfalls and exploring townships with old relics and learning more about the history of this region.

Day 1. Seisa – Cape York the Tip of Australia

We collect you from your Cairns hotel and take you to meet your low level scenic flight to Bamaga where you will be met by our tour guides and your fellow travellers to begin your 11 day Cape York safari. Begin with the bucket list photograph at the very “Tip” of Australia

Day 2. Seisa Thursday and Horn Island Tour

A walk thru history on the important role these islands played in World War 11 and the tales of the early pearl luggers who plied these waters. Admire the breathtaking views of the Torres Straits and its turquoise waters

Day 3. Seisa Fruit Bat Falls – Bramwell Station

Cross the famous Jardine River and buckle up for some real four wheel drive action on the “Old Telegraph Track” on our way to Fruit Bat falls. After a refreshing swim we journey to the most northern cattle station in Australia, Bramwell Station

Day 4. Bramwell Station – Weipa

Up early we head to Weipa where you may explore the town, book a fishing tour or book a tour to explore the Bauxite Mine

Day 5. Weipa – Cooks Hut – Iron Range

Moving thru cattle country we head to lowland rainforest and enter the Iron Range National Park to Cooks Hut. William Bligh landed here in 1792nand the gold rush started in the 1930’s. Be on the lookout for some rare flora and fauna in this iconic rainforest

Day 6. Cooks Hut – Chilli Beach – Portland Roads – Batavia Goldfields – Chuulangun

A day full of lots of adventures, a walk on Chilli Beach, a visit to historical sites, Batavia Goldfields, the Chuulangun homelands, and camping over night with the Kuki Yu Aboriginal clan

Day 7. Chuulangun – Coen

Originally discovered during the gold rush era in 1876 we visit the museum and learn about this interesting little town

Day 8. Coen – Kalpower

Travel thru the famous Lakefield National Park that is filled with billabongs and huge varieties of wildlife

Day 9. Kalpower – Cooktown

Visit the old Laura Homestead then onto famous Battle Camp Road, travel thru Hope Vale and onto historical Cooktown

Day 10. Cooktown – Bloomfield Track – Lion’s Den Pub – Bloomfield Falls

Spend a leisurely morning exploring the sights in Cooktown and then in the afternoon we head off to the Bloomfield Track to begin our journey back to Cairns. We visit the Lion’s Den pub and head out for a swim at Bloomfield Falls. We then visit the Bana Yirriji Art & Cultural Centre where you may buy paintings, jewellery and artefacts.

Day 11. Bloomfield Track – Daintree Rainforest – River Cruise – Mossman Gorge Aboriginal Guided Tour

Four wheel driving down the famous Bloomfield Track thru World Heritage Daintree and Cape Tribulation Rainforests. Take a river boat cruise down the wild Daintree River to spot pre-historic crocodiles lurking on the banks. Onto Mossman Gorge for a rainforest walk with a Kulu Yalanji indigenous Aboriginal elder and learn about bush tucker along the way. In the afternoon we hit the Great Barrier Reef Drive and make our way back to your Cairns accommodation.
